ATC Partners

ATC is surrounded by fantastic people who run amazing organisations that do incredible work. They support our mission and values and want to be involved with helping young children succeed in sport and in life. We are proud to be supported by the following organisations.

The Winter Sports Foundation have helps hundreds of athletes and their families. Like ATC the Winter Sports Foundation is a charity with a difference. It has been set up and is run by winter sports enthusiasts, people with world class knowledge in the areas of finance, sports nutrition, rehabilitation and coaching. “In our eyes everybody should be able to take part in a sport of their choosing and this shouldn’t be constrained by the costs of that sport.” Find our more about how the WSF can help you here.

The Clark family are supporters of many great causes and charities. They are also passionate skiers. When we reached out looking for a transport provider for the ATC charity Arnold Clark immediately offered to provide us with a team van.

ATC are delighted to be supported by Podiatry Plus. As every ski coach will tell you the most important piece of equipment is the boots on your feet, and we are excited to be partnering with Scotland’s leading foot doctors to keep our ski racers keep feet healthy and fast. Angela Brown and her team of expert podiatrists in Edinburgh strive to enhance performance and alleviate all types of foot pain with the help of innovative technology. We are also to have Podiatry Plus as an ATC Patron!

Blues is owned by the Scottish adventurer Chris Tiso’s Tiso Group and is partnering up with ATC to offer superb value to our young athletes and their families. Blues Ski provides support to Scottish ski races and The Blues’ Hero programme supports ski racers with discounted ski equipment.

Andrew Steel grew up racing in the Cairngorms in Scotland and has been supporting British ski racing athletes for many years. Cairngorm Capital is a family owned equity business which specialises in enabling family owned companies to profit grow.

CEO Alex Matheson says “They say that life is what happens when you’re busy making other plans. We say that granola is what happened when we were busy making other products. We have always believed in Malcolm Gladwell’s much heralded theory: that it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert in something. Over the years we have spent hours making and selling food for other companies and it was time to do this for ourselves.”

The Royal Engineers use ATC coaches and expertise to train their racing team, intructors and the troops in ski racing. Adverturous training is an important part of Army training. Learning to fly off a ski jump at 70mph in a downhill race is the ultimate test of skill and courage.

ATC provides elite coaches and training to the Scottish Ski Club. SSC runs a fantastic weekend race training programme at Cairngorm Mountain for kids aged eight and up. Contact mlangmuir@yahoo.co.uk for more information.
